On the occasion of the Paris Olympic Games, Batobus invites you to discover the numerous sporting events happening near its stops. Hop on board and enjoy direct access to the competitions and festive activities along the Seine. Here is a complete guide to the events not to be missed:

  • Terrasse des Jeux, Place de l'Hôtel de Ville: Discover the Terrasse des Jeux on Place de l'Hôtel de Ville: two giant screens broadcasting the competitions, six areas dedicated to sport and parasports, and exclusive artistic and sports performances of the Olympics. Set up on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville, this site will open on July 14 to welcome the Olympic flame in Paris.
  • Académie du Climat : A space dedicated to climate awareness and protection. Participate in workshops, attend conferences and debates, discover screenings and exhibitions, and enjoy enriching events. With an orchard, a refreshment stand, and a library, all accessible for free and open to everyone!

Biodiversity Day: An Ecological Adventure in Paris 

To celebrate Biodiversity Day in 2024, follow nature's trails on a playful adventure along the Seine with Batobus, for a family day dedicated to discovering biodiversity in Paris!

Enjoy a playful and educational cruise dedicated to the protection of biodiversity.

Dive into the heart of Paris's urban ecosystem during Biodiversity Day on Batobus, where heritage discovery meets ecological action.  On May 25th and May 26th 2024, get ready for an experience in partnership with Prizoners, offering a series of missions in five iconic stops of the city: Concorde, Hôtel de Ville, Jardin des Plantes, Notre Dame, and finally the Eiffel Tower.

What does it involve?

At each stop, a unique mission awaits you, designed to raise awareness and encourage actions in favor of the environment. Let's discover these ecological adventures together:

  • At the Hôtel de Ville stop, participate in the "DécomproChrono" mission to evaluate your knowledge about the lifespan of waste in nature.
  • At the Concorde stop, discover your super Eco Power during the "Eco-Hero" studio mission.
  • At the Jardin des Plantes, engage in the "PotatoWatt" mission where you will build your own battery and listen to the message from our tuber.
  • At the Notre Dame stop, dive into the "BioMemory" mission to understand the crucial role of each animal in the ecosystem.
  • Finally, head to the Tour Eiffel stop to spin the Eco-Wheel and try to win one of our many prizes.

To maximize your chances of participating in the Eco-Tour at the Eiffel Tower, get the 'Enquête à bord' kit. By solving these puzzles, you have the opportunity to win one or more additional eco-badges, thereby increasing your chances of winning. 

Practical information : 

  • Free activity for both kids and adults, with a Batobus 24 or 48-hour pass (1 pass per participation).
  • Activity available in French.
  • Activity duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • Activity dates: Saturday, May 25th May and Sunday, May 26th 2024.
  • Boarding location: Boarding can be done at any Batobus stop, except for the Eiffel Tower stop.
  • Boarding time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • The 'Enquête à bord' kit can be purchased online (pick-up at boarding) or at ticket counters (pick-up on-site) at the following 4 stops: Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, Hôtel de Ville, Musée d'Orsay.

Easter Egg Hunt: Ready to embark on an adventure?  

To celebrate Easter in 2024, follow the footsteps of Marius the rabbit during an unusual treasure hunt with Batobus on the Seine with Batobus, for a family outing in Paris!

The magic of Easter like you've never imagined before!

Come with your children aged 3 to 15 to enjoy a moment of sharing through this egg hunt, sponsored by the French chocolatier De Neuville. You will board our floating forest for a unique adventure in search of Marius for 1 hour on the Seine. 

But who is Marius the Easter Bunny?

Marius is a little trickster. This year, he has decided to play riddles with the children, and to reward them, he has planned some chocolate treasures for them!

How to participate? 

Meet at the Batobus station at the Louvre to pick up your Easter egg hunter kit and embark aboard our floating forest. In this kit, you will find surprises and a game booklet that will help you solve the puzzle to find Marius. A first clue will then be given to you by our crew.

At the next stop, Place de la Concorde, stay cozy on the boat and be attentive... hidden in the forest, our sailors will give you a second clue and perhaps some treats. ? 

Finally, upon reaching the Eiffel Tower stop, disembark from the boat to find the treasure guardian... and perhaps catch a glimpse of Marius, the mischievous rabbit! In exchange for the correct answer discovered during our treasure hunt, you will be rewarded with a chocolate delight.
